Pantomimes are comic shows performed by means of gestures and figures without the intervention of words and involving the audience.
This Christmas tradition is enjoyed by all members of the family, from the youngest to the oldest. The history of pantomimes dates back to the Middle Ages where religious tales highlighted the difference between good and evil.

Both the United Kingdom and Ireland have a great tradition in the world of theater, especially in pantomime during the Christmas season.

Christmas in the United Kingdom (December 25) Christmas Day is a special date that is celebrated in a familiar way. Children open the presents that Santa Claus has left for them during the night. A very special Christmas tradition in England is Crackers, small cardboard tubes wrapped with wrapping paper and joined together. The sides of the cracker are usually pulled to discover messages or small details inside.                       On these dates, British people often send letters to family, friends and sweethearts.  In addition, the Queen or the King of England usually gives a message to the population on television.

They may spend time outdoors, reading the reviews of the last year in newspapers or resting in preparation for the New Year's Eve parties that begin in the late afternoon or evening. People who host parties may spend a large part of the day preparing food and arranging drinks. In the evening, New Year's Eve parties usually go on for many hours, well beyond midnight. The Advent calendar is something that is bought especially in houses with small children, in which every day from December 1 to 24 you can open a box and eat the chocolate inside. In many houses they also have the variety of the advent calendar for the dog, with a cookie for each day.
