Roast turkey at Christmas


Roast turkey is the most famous Christmas meal. It is usually cooked only in the oven, some families add an accompaniment such as gravy, a very well known sauce in English food. Cranberry sauce is a great option for those with a sweet tooth, a great accompaniment to pork and turkey dishes. Another sauce that adds extra flavor to the meal can be bread sauce, made with chunks of bread and milk.
Along with turkey, sausages are also widely consumed during the British Christmas season.
